Somebody know of a Bitcoin explorer that does include names from leaks, names of famous people and maybe even try to estimate/reverse engineer addresses?
Does such a tool exist? Or are the real powerful analysis tools closed by private companies?

This.

Thx, I only get the oxt tool to work. It's a cool database of notes on addresses

I might be late for the daily discussion. I'm excited for tomorrow because I've started working with another Bitcoin project to orange pill people from South Africa. I firmly believe Bitcoin adoption will explode in Africa in the next five years. One of the leading retailers in South Africa also started accepting Bitcoin payments. I am bullish.

Have you shopped with Bitcoin at Pick 'n Pay yet?

I'm planning on testing it out this weekend. I'm very excited.

Making progress in my small cabin project 🙂 Yesterday I've managed to cover the remaining part of the back side of the cabin with permeable membrane - the building is now completely sealed 🙂 I've also temporarily installed an electric heater - looks like it'll be enough for now to comfortably sleep in the cabin (even without insulation).
Today I've brought a mattress in and I'll be making an attempt to build an entresol which will serve as a bed frame 🙂
Have a great day ahead!

This was my experience last night going to Taquiza in South Beach and attempting to try our project idea https://lightsats.com with a random person. Legit I asked 4 people including the cashier and they all turned down the idea of me gifting them bitcoin via our web app so they could buy themselves a drink or some tacos!
As soon as I mentioned Bitcoin they all got so hesitant about it, one girl did say "I have bitcoin" so I asked which wallet she uses normally, and said Metamask 😖. It was a fun experience, since our web app targets nocoiners I really need to get in their head and understand what's the best approach to warm them up to the idea of accepting a bitcoin tip from someone.

Great work! That kind of stuff can be really hard to do ime.
How do you think you’ll change the product/pitch to better convince them?
reply
I probably came in too hot and excited talking about bitcoin and what our team has been building and didn't do a warm introduction first. haha
My next attempt would definitely have to be more subtle, I think listening to the user first, finding out the doubts and fears people have about bitcoin, and demystifying those right from the beginning.
The media with all their FUD has really steered people away, I myself was one of them until 2021 when I finally opened up and decided to go on my own journey down the rabbit hole 🐇 🕳 .
Also, one thing to keep in mind is that our main target 🎯 users are bitcoiners or at least where the full user journey starts, so for bitcoiners it's an easy sell - "Gift sats without onboarding or losing them"
But the heavy lifting will go into building self-educating guides for a nocoiner to be able to easily follow.
For example, we just added a guide for spending only one listing for now: https://lightsats.fly.dev/guide/spend
Here's one listing for different LN Wallets: https://lightsats.fly.dev/guide/wallets
We'll be building this whole area out based on the following actions we feel would be important for a nocoioner to start exploring on their own.
Also in case you want to see what we have so far on the receiving side, I'd love for you to test claiming these 1000 sats - https://lgt.st/keyan

Hey, I claimed it to try it out. Really neat UX, kudos, very impressive! I tried with email to match the experience of a nocoiner and it was really seamless!
When creating a tip, it wasn't clear to me that I could change the unit from fiat to sats. Maybe replace the clickable text with a button, or make it more obvious for dummies like me that I can actually click.
Anyway, here is another 1000 sats tip to claim for the next passerby :) https://lightsats.com/tips/cla0zy8yy0004gwf65tay1clj/claim
reply
haha right on!! maybe @k00b will get to this one on time! If not hope the person that claims it can pass it along as well :)
Yes thank you for the feedback, I'll work with the team on making the Fiat to Sats unit a lot more comprehensive, I myself still get confused.
Also, follow us on Twitter if you can @lightsats21 we're part of the BOLT🔩FUN Legends of Lightning⚡️Tournament and have been building this product for the last 3 weeks, so lots of work to do.
Thanks a lot for interactive with it and giving us feedback and also for passing along the 1000 sats, maybe at some point we can turn it into a Lightsats Torch🔥
Oh and one last thing, check out the scoreboard - https://lgt.st/scoreboard
reply
Followed! Very cool scoreboard too, love the idea! I mentioned your project in my weekly Lightning news recap back in October, it's really impressive to see what you've come up with in no more than a few weeks. Keep it up!

🙏woah! Really appreciate it, thank you for mentioning our project to your audience and most importantly sharing the link otherwise I would have never known this mention existed out there!
I got really lucky to have René & Roland join me to build the project!
I’ll keep you informed on our progress as we go, I post our weekly updates here on SN every Sunday!
