Mostly look at recent. I'm on and off of my phone most of the day. I drive a truck, and I make something like 20 stops a day and I usually have a few minutes to kill at every stop while I'm getting either loaded or unloaded.
For the most part, I don't miss a whole lot of posts. The only territory I'm subscribed to is this one, because I consider it only fair to spend the time interacting with people who were kind enough to post here.
for some reason, i didn't imagine you as a truck driver. you could put a big Stacker news sticker on the rig!

What did you imagine me as? 😁

a work at home programmer lol, that's kind of how i imagine everyone here!

Good, because truck driver are some if the worst people I know. I'd much rather people picture me as literally anything else. 🤣

mission accomplished!

I really don't fit in with my "peers"
One think I like to say is that if I got a reward that says "worlds smartest truck driver" I'd probably just toss it in my closet because it's practically meaningless.

do you see your fellow truckers much?
also, do you think self-driving trucks will be a thing any time soon?
reply
I see other truck drivers in the morning when I get to the terminal. I'm local, so I'm home everyday. As far as the self driving thing goes, when I started driving all of the news said thst my job would be obsolete in 7 years. That was 14 years ago now.
While I do think self driving will happen eventually, I'm not worried about it. I live my life as if I could lose my job. My wife and I can manage on either one of our incomes for a time if we have to.
