Perfect example of "high time preference. " Dems want to retain control of both houses of congress. If they had bitcoin style low time preference,  they should hope Republicans take over both houses so they can share the blame for the coming economic disaster. My opinion is it doesn't mean much- both parties are to blame and neither party can stop the inevitable crash.
