Just got back from my Sunday long run and had my shower. Felt really good besides legs being very tired. I realized I get some nice elevation gains during my runs too, so I thought I'll include those starting this week. Let's get to the stats:
Tuesday - 10km - 5:56/km pace - 55m elevation gain Friday - 5km - 5:28/km pace - 26m elevation gain Sunday - 23km - 6:14/km pace - 187m elevation gain
Alcohol consumption: 1 can of 355mL 10% alcohol content cooler last Sunday night
How it felt this week:
I feel kind of bad for drinking that can of cooler. Weak minded and gave into the temptation. I need to be stronger and not let that happen again.
In terms of running, this week felt great. Legs are still tired from work as usual, but I think all the training from previous weeks are starting to show results. Finally dipping into the 5s in term of pacing for the shorter runs (although barely making the 5s, it's still an improvement). Finally went for my first 20km+ run this year; went on my usual 23km route. Lucked out because forecast called for rain and it did not rain. It's only 9:45am and my step count is already over 27k. I guess step count do go up quite a lot quite fast when you go for a 23km run.
Weeks before race day: 10 weeks.
What 10% drink did you have strong one?

Just a fruit flavored alcoholic drink made by Taiwan Beer Company. I had 1 355mL can of it.

If you have a Garmin would love to have you part of our challenges! Love the logs
I also am a marathon runner, who has been struggling with alcohol.

I do have a Garmin but would rather not join your challenge group because I would like to stay anonymous. Thank you for inviting and thank you for following these logs.
As a long time whisky enjoyer, I completely feel your struggle. My solution is to drink half a year, and try to stay off alcohol as much as possible during the other half, during which I have my training.

You're going to be swimming in sats, once you get onto Workit. That's awesome!

I searched up on it. Found its website, but only able to find the iOS version. Does it have an Android version?
reply
Not yet. They're planning on releasing that in the spring.
