pull down to refresh

Went on a nature trail with my students today. Got reminded of how @Rothbardian_fanatic shared how monarch butterflies are brightly coloured to ward off predators.
So, when you get pissed off, how do you behave so that people can catch the warning signs and basically Fuck off?
I don't usually get into it with people but unfortunately sometimes people get into it with me. Truck drivers can be pretty large assholes.
In the past I used to let them talk down to me because I was afraid to get in a fight, but I'm not really afraid of that anymore.
The last time it happened was probably a year ago, I was backing into a dock, and a FedEx driver didn't like how close my truck go to his truck when I was backing up. I obviously didnt hit him, and j was watching the entire time, it was a tight dock and some times you have to get close to back in.
He started yelling at me and calling me a "fucking asshole" and all sorts of things. So I told to "get the fuck out of your truck then bitch"
He pulled off.
TLDR: Truck drivers are miserable assholes and most of them can just go to hell.

This is rather intense. I hope pouring this out is therapeutic.

I'm telling ya sensei, the people in my industry are uneducated and mentally unwell. I can't tell you how often I've been threatened over very minor interactions.

Put in my earplugs and just work in a loud area. No one wants to come in and shout to get your attention. That just leads to them bring frustrated.

I practice something I learned in India on how to handle the ever-present beggars. I ignore them, I mean totally ignore them!! I turn them into air in my mind. It is the utmost rude way I can turn them off because, by that time, I want nothing to do with that person. If I am angry enough with them I also cut them completely off from me, in the Japanese style. There is something to be said for being somewhat familiar to different cultures and their ways of dealing with people.
