Main feature over BlueWallet is better hardware wallet support with PSBTs over QR and NFC.

I also think it looks better and easier and simpler to use without having lightning stuff, but i’m biased.

I still do not understand why people waste time with new onchain only mobile apps? Are useless without LN. On a mobile you use only LN wallets to pay and receive sats. You are not going to hang around on the street carrying with you the access to big fucking stash in your cold wallets, onchain wallets. You have to be crazy to carry with you that access. A cold wallet is supposed to be set and hide. You use it only with watch-only xpubs if is really necessary.

What if somebody does not use a laptop and instead only have a mobile device? This becomes more and more possible and practical when traveling a lot.

same shit: are you going to pay with onchain ? You can have a TailsOS in a USB and could use it in whatever PC if you really need access to a desktop. Or have a RaspberryPi 500 keyboard PC that can be attached to whatever TV or screen.

Different people use bitcoin differently, top tier hardware wallet support is a major focus, so watch-only wallets with xpubs are a perfect use case for this.

I don’t expect people to use this with their super cold never touch bitcoin stack.

But as more people live off bitcoin they have different stacks for different uses, the ideal user for this is a user that has a spending wallet that they use with a hardware wallet.

I like the concept, but once you set up the decoy, the settings page indicates that the decoy wallet is enabled even if you are at decoy wallet. This makes it easily detectable. This is a significant oversight.

I am still deciding how to handle what the settings look like in decoy mode. It seems whatever I do with enough effort you can eventually figure out if you’re in decoy mode.

But as a start I will show decoy PIN as being disabled.

The question becomes what should I do if you try to enable decoy mode while you’re in decoy mode?

Bluewallet also has plausible deniability feature, and it is not on-off concept, rather it lets you keep “create” fake wallet regardless of which wallet you are at.
