This is one of those techs that could go horribly wrong if it's buggy or hacked (think of all the things you absolutely do not want to taste), but it's also one of those things that can add a huge amount to VR (I'd personally place taste below smell and touch in terms of the three senses normally excluded from VR, but it's got some huge potential). And like most tech, I expect it to get better as time goes on.
