I've been doing a lot of research around web3 solutions as I wrap up my MBA, and just recently stumbled on a handful of projects using LN, which seems to be a great yet improving layer 2 solution. Curious what layer 3 projects everyone's excited about, though.

Web3 is code for scam. Everything must be built on top of Bitcoin.

That's great. What's a layer 3 project you're interested in?

Are there 2 different concepts being discussed over here? Layers and Webs?
Example:
Layer 1: Bitcoin / Layer 2: Lightning / Layer 3: Strike, Cash up etc
Web1: Early internet /. Web2: interactive Internet / "Web3": Adding Shitcoins to Internet. /. "Web5": Adding lightning to the internet

No. I apologize for the confusion. My personal journey to platforms like SN was going down a rabbit hole this past year researching web3. Of course, if you're researching DLTs and don't even look at Bitcoin (L1), you're doing it all wrong. I was pleased to find a handful of projects built on LN (L2). IMO, mass adoption is predicated on useful user-friendly L3 solutions. These solutions are the projects I'm asking about.
