A team of Italiarn scientists has successfully made light behave likea supersolid for the first time. Published in Nature Journal, their study shows this new phase of matter with friction-free flow and ordered structure. This advancement opens new avenues for understanding supersolidity, previously achieved only with ultracold atom condensates.
