BIP 300/301 (Drivechains) Basically programmable and trustless sidechains that uses BTC as a currency. It's such a wonderful concept. The concept is amazing and it can work. There are many communities in bitcoin and some are against expanding utility and competitivity, under bad pretexts.
Sidechains like RSK are underestimated.

You could have a large number of drivechains and even implement their own version version of the Lightning Network on them. I'm not sure about the utility of sidechain on drivechains.
