I end my weeks on Sundays and start them on Mondays. Went for Sunday long run this morning, my final run of the week. Took your advice, @User21000000, went at a pace that would allow me to finish the marathon in under 4hrs, but ran for a shorter than usual distance. Felt pretty good. Still more work to do though.

reply

That’s awesome! Well done some confidence building as well for race day!

I was supposed to run Tuesday night, but got carried away playing Split Fiction with my son. Ended up going for a run last night. Tried to complete the 10k in under 50mins, but failed. Close enough I guess. Weather was very nice and the run quite enjoyable. Going for a short run tomorrow night, thinking 5km. Aiming for more speed. See if I can finish the 5km in under 25mins.

Good work and good luck!

Join the April run club event! Best mile effort wins 2500 sats ! #930670

reply

I died towards the end.

Breaking 25minutes for the 5k seems like a worthy goal

reply

You can do it ! Need to run just under 5 minutes a km you can do it!

reply

@koob after your interest in hard 75 maybe join the run club and get that 45 mins in !

reply

Hey team, I’m considering having a membership fee for the run club say 5000 sats for the year as it’s the first year and 12k after that.

Those club fees will go towards prizes for monthly challenges and towards promotions and building the club working on club merch etc

Thinking a different monthly challenge winners get sats . So rewarding active members

Like we could do 1 mile pb anyone that can state there current mile pb and beat it this month win . Or have a mileage month member with most miles for the month wins sats maybe even a random member draw each month?

Or no member fees and run it on donations and any merch sales etc but still try and do the monthly rewards?

Thoughts? @BitcoinIsTheFuture @User21000000 @gnilma @TheWildHustle @realBitcoinDog

reply

Count me in.

reply

Thanks hustle do you think membership or go option b donations sponsorship merch etc

reply

I'm a fan of all of the above

You can setup a geyser for donations

Bullish Bitcoiner can assist with the merch, Runstr would be willing to sponsor, and memberships make sense.

Thanks for your opinions appreciate it!
