I agree. But some cats take the shortcut. There were cats that jumped or fell from the tree and ran away as if nothing happened. (Same tree).😂

Years ago in the US the Fire Department would get called when a cat got stuck in a tree. The fireman would get raised up in a bucket and "rescue" the cat, while the neighbors cheered. This seemed pointless to me. Cats can climb up and get down from trees. Maybe I'm wrong?
