Yeah, I hear you. Politics can definitely get ugly with friends. I’ve had my fair share of heated debates where I almost thought I was gonna lose a friend over it. Had this one mate who I thought saw eye to eye on most things, but when the last election came around, we couldn’t be more opposite. It got to a point where I just stopped bringing it up with him, because I could tell it was just pushing us further apart.

All for something that everyone forgets about again as soon as its over...

In the end, it’s all about knowing where to draw the line. A friendship’s worth more than being right, I guess. But then again, if you're both open to hearing each other out, it’s not always a bad thing to challenge each other's views. Just gotta be careful, or you might end up questioning the whole friendship - but overall, fuck politics because its all corrupted in the first place.
