Just wanted to see if anyone is changing their purchasing habits in anticipation of these tariff shake ups, particularly from those in the US.
Is it nudging you towards becoming a prepper? Are you looking to buy a new computer or phone just to save money on future purchases? Are you already prepared as we have learned a lesson through all the COVID hysteria? Are you ignoring it all and just living your life?
I’m mostly ignoring it. I do try to be price sensitive, so I’m sure it’s affecting my behavior indirectly.
I can't help to think ahead a bit. The problem is that they flip flop so you can't really tell if it's going to be a thing or not.
this, and making sure these things won't affect me much - I can't imagine these people doing all the silly things, and one needs to constantly worry.
You must be well prepared!
Before the tarrifs I spent all of my extra money on bitcoin. Now I still spend all of my extra money on bitcoin, I just get more sats per dollar.
A good strategy. I prefer to stack sats though.
Yes, I needed some appliances and linens for visitors who are coming in June.
So I bought about $700.00 worth of stuff last week.
I am pretty sure it will all be more expensive when they are restocked.
I think about what I'll need in the near future and whether I should buy it a little earlier.
No change, just chill and stack sats
Nope
