This could help incentivize more boosting of the original content if people don’t find the new post to be of any additional value.

All good! This is why I kind of want duplicates to just be a warning more than prohibited or too too expensive.

Even though the link is the same, the content has changed in s meaningful way and I wonder if this should be accounted for in the algorithm.
