Ok. I see. I am not subscribed though. I am just getting notifications because I was involved in the thread at some point so it notifies me everything that is said after that point.

Currently, every reply has its own subscription so unsubscribing the root item only really unsubscribes from all replies above your latest reply.
Unsubscribing from root should unsubscribe from all replies.

If I completely mute Meta will it include the thread or will that just mute Meta posts for me going forward?
