What makes Bitcoin feel real to someone? Because that’s one of the great challenges of this whole thing.
Obviously, we’re better than gold. But I’ll give gold this:
It’s shiny. Heavy.
Engrave it, toss it in an old-world safe, and it feels like wealth!
Bitcoin doesn’t get the luxury of gleam and clink, so what replicates gold's impact for your loved ones?
Do you show them they can email money? Or walk them through how it's an unconfiscatable asset?
I’m not a Saylor guy—but saying Bitcoin is the first thing someone can’t take off your dead body was a power move. That hit.
What’s the smallest demo you’ve pulled off that actually made Bitcoin feel real?
For me, the simple transaction on the LN made me feel like it was real. This was reinforced in the first onchain movement I made, when I saw my trade in the mempool in the middle of the block going from one address to another, the purple arrows, all that.

I feel like a hobby level machine like this would do the job:
I specifically say hobby level, because I think these work well at tradeshows. If it looks too "consumer," then people could/would be turned off because it feels more like a sales pitch.
If it's just simple spare change (maybe you even have some at your booth), I think it resonates better.

Most of people start onboarding with bullshit crap BTC/fiat price... etc I start with what is written clearly in the Bitcoin whitepaper:
I wonder why so few people mention in the onboarding process the most important thing? It's pure P2P money, in digital/electronic form.
