If you told me a year ago that I would earn bitcoin by creating a custom website with BTCPay server integrated for payments, I would’ve believed you. But I knew the only way to get there would be to continue building my skills.
Shoutout Oshi for believing in me and being my very-first client to pay me in bitcoin. The result is a website that he’s happy about and that I’m proud of — https://www.oshigood.us
P.S. Special thanks to Dennis and ndeet from the BTCPay team for helping me get over some speed bumps with the API 🙏
P.P.S I’m open for business! If you’d like me to build something for you, send me an email at thebullishbitcoiner@protonmail.com

I was on the site recently. Looks slick!
Do they send weed in the mail or am I confused?

I think so for that specific collab but I’m not entirely sure. I just make sure the orders get to his BTCPay server. 😎

Nice! It's pretty wild that everything's sold out.

Tell us more, how you made it... Well done!

Thanks! It’s essentially a Next.js website that communicates to his self-hosted BTCPay server instance (there’s some fancy networking going on which I’m not 100% sure how it works). I just get a URL which I use to get/set info via BTCPay’s Greenfield API.

Really cool! Congrats for this new venture. It's just a demo to showcase your js skills or you actually selling the products?

Seems that the hodl butter is back in stock:

Wait.... the name is really throwing me off because Oshi already exists.... is there any relation to this website:
reply
I don’t think so. This Oshi sells pecan butter, date bars, and chocolates.

Wow, that's great!! Thanks for sharing ⚡🍊

It would be great if you could give more details about how this work went and the challenges you faced. I'm not a technician, much less an expert, but I like to see how projects like this unfold.

If I have time, I might do another post about the nitty gritty. For now, there’s this.
