You do not necessarily have to run your own full node to run a Lightning node. LND configured with bitcoin.node=neutrino will fetch onchain data from other Bitcoin nodes via compact filters.

I'm currently running a Lightning node with channels open that I need to keep open until late May.
My understanding was that I could use Core LN and get Bolt12 Offer support...but I'm not crazy about spinning up another node in addition to the one I already have, deploying more capital, connecting to more channels.
But my understanding of my suggestion could be incorrect, so could my limitations... :)
