I don't mean Chase or Bank of America. I mean the community or regional banks that are all over the place. What does the world of "Hyperbitcoinization" look like for financial services at that level?
Banks would need to function in a way more akin to the 19th century imo. Theyd actually need to justify them taking deposits by making sound lending decisions that generate a net return and balance risk. Their market for getting fees from consumers goes to 0.

они начнут принимать биткоин на депозит. и будут каждый раз выплачивать % по мере роста монеты. это единственный выход для банка. как поддержать рост любой бумаги банки знают.

unchained capital is a good indicator of where local banking services would fall under a bitcoin standard. collaborative custody immediately comes to mind.

Fedimints and lightning wallet accounts are the two obvious services.
However most banks are credit businesses, they make their money on lending.
Which as recent events have shown, isn’t necessarily a great dynamic to introduce to an unregulated market.

We are gonna have to wait n see what ends up happening with chase and BOA when the people learn n realize they can be their own bank they will no longer need to be members of said banks I believe your always going to have some people thinking the bank is the only way. But I think the majority of people would be amazed and self sovereign of their own money especially when u find out that the banks don't actually hold your dollars they lend them out...
