Channel Island foxes (scientific name Urocyon littoralis) are a subspecies of the gray fox, endemic to the Channel Islands, an archipelago off California, in the United States. 🦊🇺🇸 They are notable for being one of the smallest foxes in the world: they weigh between 1 and 2.8 kg, about the size of a domestic cat! 🐈🐱
