Hello, stackers carrying knowledge and wisdom. πŸ‘‹πŸ€
Sincerely I am still a rookie who has a long way to go and continue learning about Bitcoin and all aspects that connect to him.
On this occasion this simple doubt arises, which I still can't decipher.
How to buy Bitcoin without exposing my name to the other users who make counterpart?
My first thought πŸ’ was to go to a "dex" as "Trocador" for example and make an exchange of USDT or Monero by Bitcoin. Or pay in these P2P sites with USDT or Monero to avoid using a payment method that is related to my name.
But then the following arises πŸ€” doubt, how can I get USDT or Monero without exposing my name?
Since to oppose USDT my main option has always been Binance 🀦
And payment methods such as Zelle, Paypal or Neeller and things are also with KYC. So I think they don't have much science to pay with those options.
I have used the LNP2Pbot to buy or sell Sats on Telegram, but paying with Fiat through bank transfer or with local payment processors such as Plin or Yape (PerΓΊ) which also do you. (I obviously do not feel comfortable or exposing my phone number or my name)
When I could use USDT or Monero, I feel comfortable.
But I still don't know how to take my colored tickets to Monero or USDT without the need to go through centralized entity.
Then I go to the Great Library of Knowledge that turns out to be SN In search of response or opcions that can help me clear my inconside.
What do I have to take care of my anonymity when I wanted to make exchanges?
Fiat To Bitcoin. Bitcoin to Fiat.
Why people always talk about "buying bitcoin" but never (or very few times) about how to EARN it / being rewarded for their work / paid in BTC / get salary in BTC ?
You've mentioned 8 times the shitcoin... that't too much for a post. If you play with shit... you smell like shit.
Fiat To Bitcoin. Bitcoin to Fiat.
What do you not understand? It is ONLY one way: earn BTC, NEVER EVER go back to fiat.
If you never go back to fiat, why do you care anymore how did you acquire those sats? KYC is bad for leaking data and use your identity for bad stuff. But it doesn't affect your sats in any way. Sats are sats. Be concerned about how to NOT going back to fiat. That's the real problem.

Honestly I respect your work, but when you go out and speak shit as it is it is impossible not to think of an insult to your person.
You live in a fucking bubble and the most unusual thing is that you think we all have access to live there.
We all want to win in Sats, pay directly on Sats and everything you say, but the real world outside is not so, and depending on what fucking region of the world you are, you can have more or less options to operate with Bitcoin.
reply
LOL so now if I tell you to earn sats directly is an insult... right. OK if you feel offended, then is your problem not mine.
You do not have those "options" to earn in sats because you are always going to "buy bitcoin" and then later sell it for fiat. Nice... you just converted bitcoin into the new paypal.

With you it is impossible to dialogue many times, and you do not understand that the world is not totally open to Bitcoin yet. And that we still do not want the same you have to use shit (USD, USDT)
And obvious we want to win in Bitcoin, but that is not something that is easy to achieve at 100% overnight, and less living in the Third World.
reply
do whatever you want, I don't care anymore. Bitcoin is fucked anyways and we will have a hard fork that will kill it.

If Bitcoin dies then, goodbye possibilities of living in freedom, and that applies to all.
Because Bitcoin is the only tool that can allow us to achieve the true "systematic freedom."
Buy with cash in person or via mail (bisq). Find your peers in local meetups.
reply
Thank you very much for this data, never and used bisq. Great option to consider, I must verify whether it function here in South America.

I think switching from fiat currency to Bitcoin while ensuring privacy is complicated. Fiat currency doesn't guarantee privacy. Perhaps one of the few options would be to make the exchange physically: using cash (in which case, personal security measures would be necessary to avoid risks with potential sellers).
reply
Thank you very much for responding, it certainly is a fairly good option, but it entails risks, and another thing is that you do not many times you get people for transactions in person.
