This is a question that puzzles me. Evidence is mounting, regime has changed, world has moved on... yet some lawyers and deep-state types at the Attorney's office at the Southern District of New York still prosecute some random dudes for writing code...?
This morning, a letter filed by the defense of Samourai Wallet developers Keonne Rodriguez and William Lonergan Hill revealed that the Southern District of New York (SDNY) had suppressed exculpatory evidence in the criminal case.
It never made sense to prosecute them, but it makes even LESS sense to KEEP PROSECUTING THEM
Just drop the case, already.
Like L0la says Nostr-ing(?) about the article:
I'm no lawyer, but SDNY should finally do the right thing and dismiss charges against SW & TC
Incompetence, evil, bureaucratic inertia, clusterfuck-cover-up?
