What counts as Obstruction during a Grand Jury?

The case title is what caught my attention (Barry Bonds). My first thought was this could not possibly be related to steroids from 20 plus years ago. I was wrong.
For a legal proceeding I found this fairly interesting to listen to. The Judges had some great follow up questions and some good Jokes/Zingers.
It seems like the DOJ just wants to get some kind of conviction, after the perjury charges didn't stick (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barry_Bonds_perjury_case)
Thought I would share for any of the Legal Eagles and/or Sports Fans. @siggy47 @Undisciplined @grayruby

Doesn't the DOJ have more important things to work on. I think 20 years should be beyond the statue of limitations. I mean he took steroids to hit a lot of home runs and lied about it. He didn't kill anyone.
