You overestimate all of humanity.
Public perception of Bitcoin is still at either no awareness whatsoever or propagandized fear of how Bitcoin is a scam. Hardly anyone I've met IRL really understood what Bitcoin is.
We're still really early on Bitcoin.
Sure the dollar sucks compared to Bitcoin, but people are really really deeply passionately stupid, and they refuse to at any point think that someone else knows more about any topic than them.
They're so misinformed that as Bitcoin's price ratchets higher and higher every 4 years, their minds ratchet further and further in the wrong direction as to their opinion on Bitcoin. They only pay attention to the crashes. So their accounting is just completely nonsensical.
When Bitcoin hits $1 million, most people's minds will blown enough to give Bitcoin a fresh look. But people rarely ever learn so much that they change their opinion. Remember, people are extremely stupid. It's literally painful for most stupid people to learn. It hurts their heads. No kidding.
Tldr: We're early.
Its going to be hard to not get wrapped up in FOMO when it peaks at $750k this next cycle. Everyone will be saying "there's no reason it can't go to $10M" just before it crashes to $250k, then to $150k. Here we are penniless and bitcoin is hovering around $16k. Could this be the real reason for covid and the suppressed economy, to keep us from stacking? Probably not but it sure seems like a coincidence.

I know if I had a 'time travelling money printer', I'd use it to the fullest effect to maximise my chances of not losing power. I'd go for broke because what else do I have to lose?

I love your reply! You have destroyed any thread of hope the video provided me. But at least you made me chuckle.
What are you doing while we all wait for the rest of humanity to come up to speed? How are you keeping your sanity?
