Why there are more spots accepting sats in Europe than in the USA? Afaik in the EU it's far worse in terms of laws and relugations to deal with btc, on the other hand it seems to have a much more active community engaged with local small businesses than in the USA that have bigger and more centralized economy and businesses. What do you think?

In my limited experience, I think lots of Americans have a distorted view of European regulations. Yes, there is a lot (too much) of it, but lots of it is there to protect people's rights. Think, for instance, GDPR. It's great for individuals, much less so for companies.
This example is, of course, quite different from the Bitcoin regulations, but I could imagine MiCa has also provided legal clarity for businesses wishing to interface Bitcoin with their fiat accounting system. Lots of American companies complained about the Biden administration trying to choke anything crypto related.
Many countries in the EU also don't make you pay taxes when selling Bitcoin, unlike the US.

it's funny how GDPR only works against companies, but the govt is free to have all of our data. I am much more concern about the govt in that regard, even though big corporations are a branch of the state in the end.

Because US people are fiat maxis to the core. They use Strike (new fiat paypal over LN) and crap visa cards loaded from sats with fiat. That is not a real bitcoin adoption that will push the merchant to accept bitcoin and start a circular economy.
US will be tge last place on Earth that will really adopt Bitcoin.

makes sense , and I didn't even mentioned south america outpacing the usa. That's kind of magical to me in regards to those americans that think they are the best, while countries like brazil and much ahead on btcmap.org lol
