In place of the bullet there were plates that we used during the week and left in the sink, so we didn’t move anything. I hope that it was behind the bowls all the time and some construction vibrations made it roll there, but it seems farfetched.
As for the 9mm that we were using at the range, they didn’t have a red rubber tip, I don’t think they give it to you there 🤔
Something that actually weirded me out was that the inner door from the kitchen to the bedroom was half-way closed but we always leave it open. 911 theorized that the cleaning ladies entered the apartment and placed the bullet (?). It was well enough to creep out my girlfriend and you really can’t reason with her in that state lol.
Austin is by far still the safest city I’ve been to, when my gf called 911 they were there in 5 minutes.

Yeah, that's a different 9mm bullet we used on the gun range.

lol, sounds like they didn't take it serious and just wanted to leave

Not sure what I would do if I suddenly find a bullet in my apartment.
I think it made sense to call 911. I hope you didn't have to pay for it though, not sure how that works here 👀

lol, now I wonder to which cities you've been so far
Austin is safe during the day but I definitely don't feel safe walking around too late at night. Lots of crazy people here for European standards.
