Austin is safe during the day but I definitely don't feel safe walking around too late at night. Lots of crazy people here for European standards.

lol I thought so too but I also thought that nothing was happening in that area and wanted to do something, so they stayed for half an hour just talking to my creeped out girlfriend so props to them.

Honestly, in Italy if you find a frustrated cop you could get a fine for false alarm. But they were super nice.

For European standards my home town shouldn't even exist lmao, but in comparison to New York, Austin is 100 times safer imo (could be wrong though, remember when we talked about that broken windows theory?)

I got the Airbnb at West Campus, I really liked the area, it was full of trees and squirrels (I got so many pictures of squirrels lol). I honestly don't know how could this happen but I may have jinxed myself by saying that Austin was safe every 2 days
