The great thing about growing older is that I don’t become frazzled so easily.

Woke up at 6.12am instead of my usual 5.30am. Instead of succumbing to a sinking feeling of panic, I took it placidly and went about my usual routine like a BOSS. Even had the presence of mind to switch on the TV and resume watching “The Devil’s Plan”. Didn’t get to have breakfast at my usual hangout spot, but dapao* a sandwich and an iced cup of coffee and boarded the school bus on time. (Yes, I commute to school for free and arrive in style, but that’s another story for another time.) Ate my sandwich and savoured my coffee on the bus.

I have come to see my life as detachable Lego blocks. Something may come to knock them down, but I can just find another way to put the pieces back again.
