When I saw the title I thought the target was gonna be Christians :). Specifically Calvinists.
Nope. Annoying people like me are the target.

I mean... to be fair I'd say being annoying is pretty universal. Its not that you aren't right, but that there are plenty of us that are also guilty. I find a vast spectrum of people annoying and I know I can be it too.

I'm probably a minimally annoying atheist, actually, since I've come to respect religion as a social institution and am legitimately interested in theology.
However, I'm sure I was plenty annoying about it when I was younger.
Now, I have to settle for being annoying about pretty much everything else.

Youth, or more accurately (been proven to me recently) maturity is the deeper issue as well as agreeableness. Young men with low agreeableness and higher intelligence are pretty annoying. What is sad is when someone is not young and they have never matured socially enough to realize that they aren't all that. That they set a ceiling on their growth by their perspective being so dogmatic. When they lack curiosity.
The more I have studied people including myself the more I realize how much we have in common. We are deeply flawed and religious people have the same flaws. We can all learn if we are open to it.

Glad you can laugh at yourself. I like that BB can mock themselves though. Which is why I thought what I thought.

What a sad existence it must be for people who take themselves super seriously.
