I think it is too hot in Texas in the summer for a convertible. They are probably worth it in California or as a summer car in locations with four seasons, if that's your thing.

I'm not going to get one so geography doesn't matter much.
I'm just curious about the maintenance and utility. Also, if it's one of those aspirational purchases, like a treadmill, where we use it once or twice.

I have known a couple people who have had them and love them but as summer cars. They would store them in the winter.
