If someone hears that I take bitcoin seriously, they’re usually a little intrigued, and say something like “what, so this is legit? Bitcoin is actually going somewhere real?”

I usually say something like “it’s the best form of money, and history, the best form of money always wins. I could really go into that if you want, but it’s kind of a huge topic.”

Other random opportunities happen when friends are talking about some random political or economic topic, and if the opportunity is right, I’ll mention things like “the dollar will fail eventually because of what you’re saying” or “imagine if there was legitimate money that was requires zero government oversight and can be stored in your brain”.
