Correct, mostly because people itself don't know what their values are, and try to figure out what other value to make it profitable. But is profit, the real value? Strongly held values allow individuals to provide intrinsic value, not because it is their main goal, but as a result of their actions.
Do you think I could move my business thoughts to ~AGORA?
~AGORA has been designed to be a marketplace, a place for buyers and sellers to meet, and obviously discuss business and learn. It is up to you, wherever territory you find is more appropriate. I'm just glad I found someone else open to discuss these matters.

Maybe the hardest work isn’t building something profitable, but rediscovering what’s worth building in the first place?

Yes I agree, nice way to simplify it. But I believe that is not a discovery in what's worth, is more a responsibility to express what already in the mind, something that one know how it should be. The hard part is to translated it into reality. It obviously takes time...
At this point, I dare to rephrase the title of this post to:
