I’ve only watched the beginning but it was gross to here him describe how he “sells” cases to superiors. I’m not surprised it works this way - it’s how large orgs work. But it feels gross to talk about putting people in prison as a sale.

big time bragging rights club.
it’s gnarly that he tried to give the 180k bitcoins to the FBI but they said the evidence room was closed 💀😆

The FBI guy is a total scumbag, a total LIAR! The whole Silk Road case was a setup from the beginning till the end. Ross was used as a patsy (he doesn't know it) to hit hard into Bitcoin community.
Before watching this garbage interview you MUST watch all these, to understand how all the case was a huge setup by gov.

Lex never asked him if he thought two consecutive life sentences was reasonable, just or moral.
I found this disappointing as it was really the only question I wanted to hear him answer.
This episode could have been very good but it fell short. Lex was all over the place and his love "schtick" and getting to be a bit much.

I've listen to the whole thing, definitely interesting but got say it makes my blood boil.
The guy clearly has a different moral code than most people here, tldr: security > freedom/privacy. He defends that tradeoff because he thinks it's what is a better for his kids.
He claims to understand the libertarian position, simply disagrees with it.

Ugh. Really don’t want to give Lex OR the FBI the time of day but I am curious enough to watch this.
