Alright stackers, how'd you do today?
What goals did you hit? What do you need to work on tomorrow?
I had another solid day, but I want to get more stretching in tomorrow.

I took off from work earlier than usual to go pickup my Switch 2 with my kids. Slacked off most of the evening watching NBA finals and playing Switch 2. Didn't go running nor bench steps, I'll just call this my off day, haha. Did go for a short walk with my wife after the NBA game ended to buy sunscreen from the store. Then went home and got back to playing Tears of the Kingdom in 4K.
Today's stats:
  • 150 push ups (3 sets of 50)
  • cold shower
  • 16429 steps

You probably did need a rest day, but that doesn't look like a rest day. I suppose everything is relative.

A lot of the steps were from work. I started working on a new job site yesterday and bringing in tool plus setup gives lots of steps. But it was a relative chill day in terms of exercise.

I ate clean all day. For me that means low carb + a little fruit. Everything was grand until dinner. I cooked with my daughter for her, her sister, and some friends. But I didn't get to eat. I was called away for business and ended up at a bar, drinking whiskey. Three drinks later, I was drunk.
I am ok with having a drink. Three is really not what my body wants. Ah well. At least that didn't lead to me eating a bunch of crap.
I walked a couple miles today. Movement!
I will get too little sleep tonight, but that's ok. This weekend I am holing up.

There are no easy wins.
I find days like that frustrating, when I do great until I make some bad decisions right at the end.

Same. But avoiding alcohol really does help avoiding bad self-care decisions like staying up too late and eating junk. I just have to tell myself that before I have a couple of drinks.
I shouldn't mix booze and business anyway, but so much of the external collaboration is done over drinks...

I set my record in pronated pull-ups yesterday, 16 in a row!

Two beers and a cake YOLO

"A cake"? Not a slice of cake?
Seems like you're chasing @Aardvark, rather than the other way around.

Twas but a slice

A solid night, I'd say! A lazy and hazy morning. Just had a walk on the wet grass, it really feels good. The weather is just fine, it's humid but a cool breeze is taking care of that.

We went for a walk, too. The weather was perfect: sunny, but not hot, with a little breeze.
