Hi there. I am a veteran mobile game developer. On mobiles the only monetization option is to go through Apple Appstore or Google Play payment system to get In-apps from users. I was thinking about bypasing those with lighting payments. I just wonder if anyone have already tried this and if so.....how fast did Apple and google banned your app? :D
There are some mobile games that pay users using Bitcoin lightning and that are for a long time on Google and Apple stores, like the games from https://www.thndr.games/

Thanks! I checked the games. However if I am not mistaken it seems that in these games developer pays players for playing the game not vice versa. I can understand why google or apple has no issue with this kind of money transfer.

You can use www.zebedee.io to integrate lightning on your game.

Do you have any mobile game released?
I am now thinking about addind a secret code( like IDDQD :). Which would enable and show a lightning payment options to player. It would be a very risky way how to keep game on appstores and still let players who know this code to use lighting.

Please be the trailblazer. And share the implementation.
You might need to use a third party app store or just have Android users download from your website.
I'm extremely excited to see you compete your goal. I think you will set a great new trend.
Don't forget to make your game fun. Paid drudgery is not what I want.

Releasing it on different channel alongside google play and appstore might actualy be a best way how to do this! Yes, the game will be fun at a first place! It will be a mobile non-payToWin oldschool MMORPG. We are currently planning to releasw first alpha build. If you want to join. Please go to our discord. https://discord.gg/2AUcDgRY88

This was a well timed browser refresh. I just finished one of the units in this learn Unity course I'm taking. As the other comments have mentioned ZBD has a lot going on. You might want to check out/apply for their development dash. If anything it'll get you some answers.
