pull down to refresh

Today’s question is inspired by my newfound favourite TV show.
—- In this era where choice is abundant, I will agonise about which TV show to watch next for a frustratingly long time. However, ever since I have found a Taiwanese TV show called Guess Who”, my decision paralysis has been shredded effectively as I try to devour one episode after another. I just love how the featured family lives their alternative life unapologetically, marching to their unique tune, heedless of societal conventions. I also enjoy watching how they chat about life and all its nuances with their dinner guest, exhanging hearts in the process. This reminds me of my favourite Japanese show “Can I follow you home?”, which similarly showcases slices of life of ordinary people. Glad to have found a Chinese version!

Fuck, I'm positive im missing people and sorry if I forgot you. There's so many interesting people on this site that I enjoy talking to. Honestly you're all super cool in my book, and I hope to catch some of you at a meet up eventually. Hit me up if you're ever in the neighborhood.

Maybe someday there will be a big Stacker News event. I also hope to hang with my favorite stackers in person.

How about at Tabconf in October, @BlokchainB said he’s setting up a table there

Then we get to the second problem, which is that I strongly dislike travelling and conferences.
I'd be more excited about a closed door owners meeting at SN HQ.

I strongly dislike travelling and conferences.
Well, you’re not alone in that haha
I'd be more excited about a closed door owners meeting at SN HQ.
I’m not sure there’s ever been more than two people inside SN HQ at the same time.

Traveling is absolutely the worst, but I'm going to have to bite the bullet eventually and go to one of these things. Unfortunately, I'm probably not going to make it to anything this year. My wife starts her new job next week Monday, so I'm probably going to be playing catch up for a while.
Where is Tabconf?

Never been to ATL. I wish it was during baseball season though. Then I could have an excuse to cross another park off my list.
I'm much less cool in person 😎

I would invite Keanu Reeves.
He seems like a nice guy to hang out with and we can make a jamsession in the basement after dinner. 🎸

He seems to be a humble and helpful guy, if those social media threads I read about him are reliable!

Good choice. You can pick their brains about your homeschooling endeavour too!
Give me some time to chew over it before I respond to you

I would invite my first love just to thank her for choosing me all those years ago, for the light she brought into my life, and for showing me how important simple moments can be.
