Speaking of a text-first internet, https://www.newsminimalist.com/
Imagine being mad at math. Also, it's worked out pretty good for me. I don't see what the problem is here.
Please make SN from the terminal a thing. The world needs more text-first tech. Web3 has ruined the internet. Blogging over ssh is something the world needs more of.
No, but I intend to run a round of benchmarks when I get around to it. I wear a lot of hats and this is just my hobby. Hopefully by the end of the month.
People reading this will inevitably nod their heads, talk about how bad others are, and move along like they're not being talked about. Please, for the love of god, apply this to yourself.
Wikipedia makes it sound like it's just edgy rage bait:
"Little Girls" was written by Danny Elfman after reading an article in a newspaper.[2] The song was written as a satire and has a strong punk rock influence, as well as a horn arrangement. When asked about the song's darkly humorous lyrics in 2010, Elfman replied:
'''What made me write it? At that point I was just grabbing onto things that popped up in my head and taking characters and singing from their point of view. ... So it didn't necessarily reflect me...but it was just fun and I knew it was irreverent. I was out to offend everybody.[3]'''
Elfman would reiterate this view in 2014, claiming that the song was an "in-your-face facetious jab."[2][3] Elfman has occasionally offered other explanations; in a 1985 concert he jokingly suggested that the song was about how his girlfriend was so "very, very little" that "she fits in the palm of [his] hand."[4][better source needed]
"Little Girls" was described by Creative Loafing Tampa as one of the standout tracks of Only a Lad.[5]
That doesn't really excuse it. I also remember songs sexualizing younger women. At the end of the day, our sexuality is imprinted on us by the culture around us, and that's what was being imprinted on the people who were alive at this time.
At the end of the day, what matters to humanity is humans. AI is only good to the degree that it makes life for humans better. If AI is hurting people, that's up to the people using the AI. And guess what's happening.
I really like the idea of getting models to dial down on requests with the Socratic method. Did you publish your experiment anywhere?
I really kind of want a system where each person sets aside N gigs of storage when they join the network and that is transparently used to store blocks of torrents of classic games. It can then be accessed by others over the network. Almost no input needed by the user and massive amounts of storage.
