Thanks, appreciate your response. Yes probably is a bit extreme, black and white view, when I know there could be plenty of greys in between and I also could make a difference in choosing which scale to create. Buy lately everything has been toward black, and that's why I feel in need of a radical change.
Thanks for your considerate response. I recognise they are valuable, they have brought a lot of value and support in the past, but I feel that the only way to stay true to myself is to cut the connections and found new ways of living. It's hard to accept their way, because it's not motivating at all, if not self self-destruction. I see the ship sinking and I'm kind of tired to pump water out when others aren't doing much apart complaining. I feel they are bringing me down with them, don't have many and that's why these weird ideas come to mind. The simplest decision it look's to be, but not the easiest one
What are your thoughts about:
Dealing with Fam & Friends' Different Values when taking Life Changing Decisions?
Your strategy of having multiple custodial wallets is definitely interesting, not really matching my minimalistic approach, but I understand now the why 😅
I definitely need to open more private channels
Thankas for highlighting the difference. As you said, I definitely looking to swap out. I'm currently testing now:
-
Coinos does not allow me to receive more that 100k via LN, probably due to the low connectivity on the few channels. So I'll need to do it multiple times before swapping out a nice amount back to on-chain
-
Terminal.Lightning has been super easy to set up, have few swap out initiated, one just got confirmed, too easy
Anything else you think I should play with? It will be nice to have some details about the Zeus option you mention, now that I've some inbound I can test it
I've it connected with Zeus but I do not see the way to send to myself, can you be more specific?
It is also more accurate to say that I'd like to loop out some liquidity from LN to onchain
@aftermath I'm having some issue swapping out some liquidity to onchain on a new node #589834 maybe you can help me dive into the various options I'm testing.
I have a channel with Bolts so this swap was pretty straight forward and the fee reflected what was advertised.
I'm now testing coinos and wondering if I should open a private channel with their node too? Considering I've only private channels and my node is running on Tor, I'm now finding it hard to swap funds from my node to the coinos wallet.
any suggestion?
Cool, many thanks! I like the simplicity of option 3 and a learning opportunity in option 1
;allow-circular-route=true
already on my lnd.conf but not sure how to go from there... any specific command should I run on the cli? Any reference will help
yeah I agree, but look like that option isn't available, did not specify any error either. Maybe via cli will be easier.
Anyhow, I got confirmation have zero sats on my local balance so I think I'm happy to close down the node ands start a new one, most probably s9. But if anyone has any other suggestion please let me know
