thank you! I'm currently living aboard a narrowboat on a canal in London.. Things are perpetually in a state of being broken on a narrowboat. Lots of tinkering with things on here!

Really enjoying this at the moment. Especially the small story about Willie Ruff recording his French Horn at St Mark's Cathedral and being blown away by the reverb/echo. One recording of which can be heard on YouTube.

I spent the afternoon trying to fix my narrowboat engine.. It started up but one of the fuel lines is severed so is leaking quite a fair bit of diesel everywhere. Need to find someone to help me fix it!

I feel like I can't be happy no matter what I try.

I don't feel I have anyone IRL that I can say that to.

And it's eating me up inside.

I love Kindle because of the simplicity of the highlighting and being able to copy / paste everything into a commonplace book (I use Obsidian on mac) but I admit that I find it much more satisfying to scribble notes in the margins of physical books and underline stuff and dog-ear the pages.
