I dont think meetups suck. Meetups are important to socialize with humans about the greatest invention of our time. Meetups help me feel like I am not a crazy person and the other members help to be a sound board to sort out ideas and help with technical questions. I love it. I normally try to bring some type of "artifact" or new talking piece. Normally someone will present on a topic for 15 minutes or so and then open up for general discussion. We only have a maximum of about 10 bitcoiners so that type of format works best for us. I post meetups on meetup.com and OPA.
To my daughters dismay, this is his I found out she was skipping school. Location history created an almost perfect map of her whereabouts and when she came to and left school , and the gas station and library and dairy queen...
No issues with samourai at all. The ui could be prettier and smoother. I also trying to find some thing I can get my mom to use. I'll check out green
I've been to bitcoin miami the last 3 years. Progressively got worse. Actually this year was not too bad because low expectations. Ticket price is only reasonable if you buy the ticket a year in advance. Don't expect to learn anything at bitcoin magazines conference. only stage worth while is the open source stage. Bitcoin bazaar was fun. The ezpo hall is 95% trash booths trying to get your personal info. Wife asks me what I learn every time and I dig deep to find that I learned meetups are generally more fulfilling and educational. This year will be my first go at BitBlockBoom. I've heard great things about how interactive it is.
