Good. Government mandates suck. Especially on money.
Strong narratives derive from weak people. People don't understand power. They should.
Many actually agree with Roger than disagree. That's OK. You can agree with him on some things and not on others. Life's messy, not binary.
IMO: focus on you and what you can do. Everyone now, have to figure it out.
Messenger safe.
The sly roundabout way was the goal. Go around them. Not join them.
We succeed when we don't use their system. Touch fiat as needed. Don't desire it.
Statistics aren't favorable. 98% of the globe has Bitcoin. But, they want fiat. Not bitcoin. Let that settle in...
If you have your keys, you are sovereign. Use your bitcoin. Can't save everyone.
USDT on Bitcoin... Trojan horse. Not for Bitcoiners. For the state.
USDT opens possibilities:
- OFAC/FATF regulations/compliance
- LN becomes a banking infrastruture
- LSPs and LN wallets as Money Business and Money Transfer Services
- KYC/AML LN wallets (primal)
- Freezing of funds (USDT does that)
- USDT works with government agencies
- Fiat strengthens
- Bitcoin demand lessens
- Bigger surveillance network
Only retards celebrate this.
Very broad request. Thoughts...
Safety: LatAm, relatively safe. Stay away from cities.
Rentals: AirBnB works. We have family. Stayed there.
Visas: US Citizen, visa free. Good for 90 days. Don't know about your spouse. Is there a treaty? If not, need to apply.
Pack light. Cash is king. Good for bribes.
Sad.
USDTrojan horse. OFAC/FATF regs. US based LN nodes and wallets: MBSs and MTSs status.
Don't use it. Don't demand it. Use Bitcoin directly.
It's also meant for normies. Writing to make Bitcoin more approachable. Something to share.
This should help.
