> RB: What do you do when you think about your story?
KI: I sit in a stuffy room and fill notebooks with possible relationships and situations. In nonfiction, authors have to do a lot of research before they right. I do the equivalent, but my research is not in libraries, or by interviews. I research the world in my head, the people, relationships, and settings. Is it the real world, or is it a few stages removed; in what way?
RB: What’s your process of writing a draft?
KI: I write first in pen, deliberately illegibly. I pay no attention to style; my only objective is to let the ideas come out, to get past my own defenses. I write quickly and intensely. Ideas change; if I decide a character would be better this way, I make the change and carry on. I write 30-40 pages and stop. The first draft is a total mess.
Then I go through a process which my daughter calls “bottling up.” I look at the total mess, and divide it not into paragraphs but “ideas.” This is similar to a technique actors do when they rehearse plays; they break the play into “moments.”
I number all the ideas, say 1-23, and then write down a 1-sentence summary of what happens in each of them, try to produce a flow diagram.
I’m not a good writer of sentences. I think my strength is between drafts. I “pull out” of the story to see its overall shape, stare at the numbered points, shape the ideas, see what’s original and what’s not, consider the forks in the road in the story going forward. Then I write the draft again, and repeat the whole process 3-4 times, until I write 30 pages I’m happy with.
Then I move on to the next 30 pages. I write one section at a time, because the 2nd section has foundations in the first, if I roughed it all to the end I’m afraid there would be structural weaknesses. (But some projects seemed to require it, like Never Let Me Go.) 

I wonder if any writers here have tried any such techniques. I've read about others approaching writing similarly. First, unleash the ideas, let them roam the page un-mitigated, then rein them in by reducing, and imposing your order. Ishiguro says this.second step "makes you feel godlike."

I'm guessing each has their own method that works for them, and the more you practice, the more it becomes yours, and then your writing wears your method like a signature.

Today I want to share with you a new set of photographs that I took for a doctors office that hired my services because they needed some professional photos to renew their image on social networks and also to be able to create advertising flyers.

The main photos they needed were portraits on a white background to be able to update their personal image I took three photos for each one and guided them all with the same pose so that the photo session would flow faster.

That day I photographed more than 20 doctors but in this publication I am only showing you my favorite photos there were also females.

I took all the photos with my Canon R8 camera a 50mm 1.8 f lens and two light points.

At the end of the photo session we were all super happy with the results and I hope you like them as much as we do!!

A quick experiment I did

Please pay attention to this experiment, is fun but if people don't know these details it could end up in disaster.

# Introduction

In the last 2 weeks I did an experiment that want to share it with you now. Initially was just for me testing various LN addresses and wallets on nostr, but then I thought that some of you may find it useful.

So as some of you know, on nostr you just have to add a LN address in your profile in order to receive zaps for your notes. But that is not the fun part. The fun part is what and which wallet associated with that LN address you are using in order to have full control of those sats and also keep a good level of privacy.

The best way is to use a DECOY wallet. Yes, we all want to have a self-custodial wallet, but in a public place like nostr is better to not show your personal linked domains / nodes / wallets.

Are many ways to use a decoy wallet and I will not enter in those details here. [You can read this guide about LN addresses if you want to know more](https://darth-coin.github.io/beginner/getting-started-ln-address-en.html).

Among many other LN addresses I used, for this test purpose I used a https://npub.cash/ LN address.
The site is straight forward linking your nostr npub to a dedicated wallet, so nobody can access it without your nsec.

You can also, optional, you can get a personalized LN address, paying 5k sats for it. So I did for darthcoin@npub.cash, especially for nostr.

I do not like too much ecash cashu, but I consider it an interesting way as a decoy. I keep very few sats in some cashu mints and I've tested some wallets with it, just to know how it works and not being clueless. I do not like to talk about things that I do not know or test myself.

# Fun part

So I posted some memes, some comments, some other things, just to get enough zaps. My main goal was to test how to redeem these cashu tokens into self-custody sats.

I got like 245 zaps, that representing 245 tokens. For some of you that don't know, each time you receive sats in form of cashu tokens, it represent a token, like a gift card. Yes... you see your balance displaying 1234 sats, but you don't really know how many tokens (gift cards) you have.

The important part to remember is that for more tokens you have, harder will be to redeem them. Is like a big consolidation of small UTXOs. That's why using cashu on places like nostr, where are mostly small amounts of sats zapped, it can create an issue when the user wants to move them out to another real LN wallet or simply pay somebody else, They will encounter problems when are too many small tokens placed into a payment and the app could crash or simply cannot read that giant token string.

So one day I decided to get out those accumulated sats in the https://npub.cash/ account.
You have only one way out - withdraw all sats into another wallet, being cashu or LN.

It is presenting you a live QR code that contain ALL tokens you received until that moment. That means you will see an animated QR flickering, but in fact is displaying very fast all token QRs to be scanned and redeemed.

It also presenting you a link to [cashu wallets](https://docs.cashu.space/wallets) page but I tried with almost all of them to scan the QR and none was able to read that giant string.

So I decided to use Zeus, that supports cashu wallets as additional custodial accounts.
And surprise ! 

In one of my testing Zeus nodes I had an almost empty LN channel, so I decided to use that one to receive all the sats, without importing the mint from npub.cash and dealing again with all those tokens.

I just open Zeus and click on the main screen to scan the QR. 

REMINDER: You HAVE TO keep scanning ALL tokens / QRs, so have patience and also look on the top of the screen where it displays how many tokens are scanned, wait patiently until it finishes.

It will bring you all the sats and you will be prompted with 2 options:
- import the mint and the tokens into a new cashu wallet in Zeus
- redeem all sats into self-custody, in this case in one of your LN channels that have enough inbound liquidity.

I choose "self-custody" and after few moments appeared the OK message saying that the redeem was successfully. You can close that screen and go back to your wallet. Check the balance and the tx log. You will see 2 txs: one with the entire balance redeemed (in red) and another one (in green) with the remaining sats redeemed after the melt of the tokens and deducted fees (remember that the melt process end up with a LN payment that carry routing fees).

Aaaand done. All sats were safe in my own custody.
And this process leave no trace. Nobody will be able to know where those were going.

# Conclusion

Do not keep in a cashu wallet too many small tokens. Always redeem them or consolidate them. In the end a cashu wallet is just a gift card.

I have known here for almost 5 days and I have created an account on Stalker News and I have posted 3 posts so far, and with each post I have learned a lot from all of you. Of course, I went to school for 12 years, I went to university for two years, my academic field was art, but believe me, even if you study in Iran for a thousand years, they won't teach you the difference between ordinary Bitcoin and Lightning... I had no choice but to search and find the answers to my questions... This place was a paradise for me and I thought it was suitable for people like me who want to learn something, but today I realized that I was wrong.  This is just a place for know-it-alls who come every day to post things that they and others know about and go... I'm not upset at all that I don't know many things, but I hate myself with all my heart that why I ask something that I don't know, that will cause me to be ridiculed in a media space and many people will witness my pride being ridiculed and crushed... Yesterday a friend told me that in a Ranch in the city they were going to have a horse event with a costume competition and the truth is the idea caught my attention to go take photographs unfortunately I did not arrive in time for the moment in which they were all in costume but I managed to take two photos of 2 people in costume the first one was of a girl dressed as a policewoman.
