This is a great initiative; thank you for sharing your ~Design needs with us! It sounds a bit complex to me, firstly because you are suggesting different methods to the receiver.

What makes you think he (or she) will know how to choose, or what's the difference between, on-chain and lightning? Especially if a newbie, the receiver will probably be confused by all these steps and apps to download and use... I bet they will leave the sats in the card if they are not familiar with it. Good to onboard new Hodlers :)

Why not just have a pdf for each, one on-chain and one LN? Then you pick, depending on who the gift is for, to attach one handout or the other with the satscard?
