I didn't read it as a criticism. Sorry if I gave you that impression.
No one can say: "I lead a happy life" or "I lead an unhappy life". We experience both happy and unhappy moments throughout our lives. Our personal efforts should be focused on creating as many happy moments as possible. But you can't completely avoid unhappy moments. So there can't be one "happy life". There can only be many happy moments throughout life. The same applies to a healthy life and an unhealthy life. It is impossible to go through life without moments of weakness or periods of unhealthy living, but the effort should still focus on minimizing those unhealthy phases as much as possible.
My therapists had another approach. She never asked me to write my thoughts down. I did it because a friend of mine told me to. Her therapist had the same approach as yours.
I am constantly renewed and fascinated by the fact that the act of sharing myself through writing takes care of me and has the potential to reach beyond me
The same goes for me. As well as writing, psychotherapy has also been a great help to me.
I found it by accident. A YouTube video. Bitcoin. I stopped. It was sharp. I watched. More videos came. Then more research. I dug deeper. No fat on the words. One year back. Searching crypto in general, I found Stacker News in a post by @cryotosensei about SN in another blog. And here I am. Simple. Direct. No bullshit.
Thanks for sharing this detailed write-up! Firefish.io sounds like an intriguing advance in bitcoin lending, especially during this transition between fiat dominance and wider bitcoin adoption. Compared to traditional banking or DeFi platforms, the focus on transparency and borrower protection, such as pre-signed transactions and recovery mechanisms, is a huge leap forward.
Exactly. A high-profile case like that could really reinforce their credibility and show they’re serious about protecting the integrity of the sport.
Might the sportsbooks be a check on this corruption of the sport, since honest matches (or at least the perception of such) are in their interest?
In my opinion yes. Sports betting companies have a vested interest in maintaining the integrity of the sport. Their credibility is damaged by rigged games.
It is often referred to as "Lady Wisdom". Some scholars suggest that this is a poetic technique that makes the abstract concept of wisdom more relatable and vivid to readers. This personification appears prominently in passages like Proverbs 8:1–9:12, where wisdom is depicted as calling out to people, offering guidance and insight and so on.
Some other scholars suggest that the feminine personification of wisdom may draw parallels to ancient Near Eastern goddesses, integrating familiar cultural motifs to convey its messages effectively.
