Microsoft researchers have unveiled GigaTIME, a powerful artificial intelligence system designed to model the complex environment surrounding tumors.

Instead of relying solely on expensive and sophisticated laboratory tests, the system can analyze standard pathology slides and generate detailed molecular insights into what is happening inside tumors.

The AI was trained with data from approximately 40 million cells, connecting tissue images with information on protein levels. It was then applied to data from over 14,000 cancer patients, generating hundreds of thousands of virtual molecular images across 24 different cancer types.

This enormous “virtual population” allowed researchers to discover over 1,200 new biological associations, linking proteins, biomarkers, tumor progression, and patient survival.

What makes this especially exciting is that studying the tumor microenvironment typically requires extremely expensive and slow imaging techniques. GigaTIME can simulate similar insights using AI, allowing scientists to analyze cancer biology on a population scale, something that was previously virtually impossible.

The bigger picture: artificial intelligence is beginning to act as a discovery engine for biology.

All cancers may soon be curable.

JP Morgan has begun marking down private credit portfolios and reducing new lending.

It sounds technical, but this touches on the heart of liquidity creation in the financial system.

Much of today's credit doesn't originate solely from traditional banks. It comes from the private credit ecosystem, funds, and financing structures that lend using assets as collateral.

The problem begins when these assets experience negative mark-to-market valuation.

When the value of collateral falls, lenders increase haircuts, demand more guarantees, and reduce leverage capacity.

The result is simple: Less collateral → Less credit → Less liquidity

This reduces the credit multiplier of the financial system.

And when credit begins to contract, the effect is rarely isolated.

Ristier companies lose access to financing, credit spreads widen, and the cost of capital rises rapidly.

This is one of the classic signs of cycle exhaustion.

This is exactly the dynamic that appeared before several moments of financial stress. The system begins to reassess risk, collateral loses value, and credit expansion slows.

The important point is that financial markets are extremely sensitive to marginal liquidity.

When credit expands, assets rise.

When credit contracts, the wind changes.

And that's where Bitcoin comes in.

Historically, BTC reacts very sensitively to changes in global liquidity. In phases of credit contraction, the market usually experiences multiple compression and greater volatility.

But this process also tends to plant the seeds of the next cycle. So if you are positioned, prepare for turbulence.

It shows two different things.

The blue area represents everything that AI is already capable of doing today.

The red area shows how people are actually using AI at work.

And the gap between the two is enormous.

This difference is important because it reveals something that many people still haven't understood about the technological transition. Capability is not adoption.

For example:

In areas like programming, a large part of the tasks are already technically within the reach of AI. The same is beginning to appear in financial analysis, customer support, and administrative functions.

But this doesn't mean that these functions have disappeared.

In practice, what is happening is much more gradual.

Unemployment in the most exposed professions has practically not changed. What has changed is something else.

Companies have started hiring less in these areas.

In the US, hiring for young people between 22 and 25 years old in roles most exposed to AI has already fallen by about 14%.

In other words, the change is not happening through mass layoffs.

It's happening through a reduction in the entry point into the job market.

Another interesting finding from the study: today, about 49% of jobs in the US already have at least a quarter of their tasks within the reach of AI.

Just a year ago, that number was 36%.

The technology has already arrived, and this will have a significant impact on the job market and economic activity.

These are real videos. People undressing.

Bathrooms. Sexual relations. Bank card data. Medical documents.

The workers described what they see:

→ Unintentionally captured card details
→ Cameras in doctors' offices
→ The anonymization eraser? It constantly fails

But here's what they're hiding from you:

You didn't agree to any of this.

If someone with these glasses enters your bedroom, your bathroom, your doctor's appointment, you are not a contracting party.

You didn't sign anything. You have no protection whatsoever. You are the product being annotated.

Meta's defense? "It's in the terms of service."

Technically correct. Practically irrelevant. The terms govern the data of those who use the product. Not yours.

And the company making the annotation? Sama, the same one exposed by TIME in 2023 paying $2/hour to label graphic content for OpenAI while charging $12.50 per worker. The employees themselves called it torture.


Same workforce. Same rates. New contract: your intimate moments.

Google Glass died because people called users "Glassholes" and banned them from bars.

Meta solved the aesthetic problem.

It didn't solve the privacy problem. It hid it.

And the next generation? Facial recognition.

The same system that can't reliably blur faces will start purposefully identifying them.

The EU is already moving. European parliamentarians have submitted formal inquiries to the Commission demanding answers on GDPR compliance.

The problem is obvious: European law requires consent from data subjects. Spectators are data subjects. Spectators never consented. The entire architecture violates the regulation by design.

What to watch for: if Brussels formalizes enforcement, Meta faces an impossible choice.

→ Disables human review in Europe
→ Cripple in AI training pipeline
→ Accepts fines that could reach billions

None of these scenarios are priced into the action.

50 million installed units permanently change the calculation.

This isn't about privacy.

This is about who controls your data without ever asking your permission.
