Bettas are lovely!
But get a minimum 10-15G tank with them. Females are community friendly, Males are solitary although have the most gorgeous fins.
Ensure they have hammocks, real plants are extra beneficial, and they like blood worms. Lots of bubblenests means they are extra happy ☺️
of course.
the belittling and backhanded like attitudes came from not only the boss, but from fellow coworkers who didn't even bother to be helpful the first week was humiliating. the supervisor above my boss (about the seasonal workers, which was me and a few others) even said, "can't wait to let these newbies go soon."

hope this helps :)

great one for digital clutter too. for me its less apps and scrolling with screen time to a max of 180 mins a day.
