Maybe he just doesn't want a big target on his back. I think I would have done the same. And about his coins, he probably was a wealthy man before bitcoin so he doesn't really need to use them and prefers to "burn" them in order to make bitcoin even more scarce
I love S2F as it states a very good idea/framework of what's to come. I has a solid argument that can feed a lot of theory crafting.
On the other hand, no one can predict the future and you shouldn't bash the author as soon as the model misses a data point
I'm more concerned about what's going to happen when the mining rewards get to ~0.
I was thinking we could increase the block size, this way mining rewards (fees) could stay lucrative thus keeping the hashrate up.
I'm Venezuelan. Inflation has slowed down in the last couple of years but it looks like it accelerated a bit in the last quarter.
I decided to not pay much attention about the price/economic side of btc because we all know where btc is going.
So i try to focus on the technologycal side of btc, because this will be much more useful in the future
I do love linux I've been running different flavors as my daily drivers for the past decade and It's been a great experience.
I belive that as demand for bitcoin payments grows so will the profitability of running routing nodes. This will incentivice more holders to route which will decrease centralization.
I used to love to seed back in the day when I had the time. If I could earn some sats by seeding I would come back for sure
