Fiat world full of unrest.
These are all results of lack if financial freedom. It's a form of slavery and death. Unfortunately most people will still continue to prefer and vote fiat systems.
Great information. Ever since I started learning the technical aspects of Bitcoin, combined with my socioeconomic knowledge, I really don't get scared of what the governments or organizations like the WEF are up to. Bitcoin is the most powerful tool any individual can have against authoritarian institutions. The more closer I get to Bitcoin (technically and otherwise), the more powerful and energetic I feel.
Don't be naive to think that governments and central banks will ever stop printing more and more of their currencies, including the U.S. I believe prof. Krater is making a sarcastic statement there. Think about it, how much of its purchasing power has the U.S. dollar lost so far? What about the U.S. debt? Will they ever stop the printers? I don't think so. Their source of power lies in the printers. And they need to keep printing in order to keep the coarcion alive.
As much as I have great deal of respect for Saylor and Odell, I don't let them define what bitcoin is to me. The only person/group that has come close to defining what bitcoin is to me is Satoshi Nakamoto. BITCOIN: A peer-to-peer electronic cash. I always capitalize the word "CASH." At the same time, it's limited suppy provides me with a store of value.
Well, i don't think the folded bottom is a good idea. You could make it flat for the sake of stability, imo.
If, as a bitcoiner, you still believe that you need permission to use bitcoin, then you simply have no aota of idea what bitcoin is. You have no idea how powerful bitcoin is. A permissionless system. It is your utmost responsibility to find out ways to utilize bitcoin, especially against the authoritarian kleptomaniacs of your country. When you finally fully grasp the true essence of bitcoin as a self-sovereign, self-custody, and self-responsibility tool, you'll become too technical for any government to stop you from using bitcoin.
People should stop being lazy and waiting and relying on someone to legislate the use of bitcoin in their country. Bitcoin is freedom technology.
Money is not leaves that you can just plug from trees and share to everybody. There's no such thing as free lunch. You can't seperate money (i.e., sound money) from work. Value needs money.
The problem is that once the monetary system has been hijacked, the people lose their power on the elected officials. At the end of the day, the people wil be left with fighting for their socioeconomic freedoms, and time and lives are being wasted in the process. And, also, most of the citizens get to lose their ability to think for themselves at the individual levels; everything gets to be done collectively. That's dangerous, imo. So long as the some group of people get to control the money, imo, nation-state politics is a total waste of time, and resources.
Do wonder how my life would have been had I not discovered Bitcoin and Bitcoiners. The best form of politics is family. And, Bitcoin is an excellent tool to help live a better life, free from outside (i.e., the so-called political class) influence.
One major wisdom in programming is understanding the strengths and weaknesses of programming languages. As such, a programmer gets to appreciate the uniqueness of each language.
Nice piece.
Most business websites are dev under pressure and hurry, and the innocent customers/users are at the receiving end of whatever hack that may descend on such websites.
