In the end, the coming prolonged war will cost him his base and fracture the party (probably why they are also whispering in Elons ear to start another party).
They want the large mandate Trump had splintered into 2 or 3 different silos (which the progressive / democrats have already fallen victim to), and with the lack of any party holding a national mandate, the deep state will be free to continue on completely unmolested.
I don't think this war will be prolonged. The goal is to eliminate Iran's nuclear facilities and missiles. No American troops will be needed as long as Israel does the bombing and striking.
The initial engagement will no doubt be quick. But these things have ways getting prolonged....just wait to the next "dirty bomb" device shows up somewhere. Just as our deep-state is begging for war, so is theirs. They will use it to incite the region....

Its the talk all over the hill. Iran hasnt been able to mount any sort of defense the last 48 hours and are estimated to have lost 40% or more of their mobile rocket launchers which are critical to them to launch as they have no air defense systems
